Hi, I\u2019m Esther! I\u2019m married to the love of my life and we have two beautiful children who are the biggest joys of my heart. I love being called Mom, whether it\u2019s by our children, or others that step into our home. Our kids are now teenagers, and my husband and I are savoring this stage of our children\u2019s lives. Teenagers are great to be around because they\u2019re authentic, and we appreciate their zest and energy for life.

I\u2019ve worked in a chiropractic office since I was 17. Because of this I have a reverence for the incredible ways our bodies have been created and the ability they have to heal when given the right tools to do so. I\u2019ve always been \u201cthat friend\u201d that tries the alternative health things. My kids roll their eyes, but I tell them someday they\u2019ll be just like me! (My daughter came home from school one day and told me in an exasperated tone they were talking about all sorts of health things in class and she said, \u201cMom, because of you, I had heard of every single thing the teacher was talking about!\u201d)

I enjoy running and have completed several half and full marathons. While running, I have found that friends and conversation are therapeutic to my soul as we discuss the things we\u2019re discovering about God. This combination makes the miles in the fresh air fly by! For this reason, you\u2019ll rarely find me running alone.

Some things I love are laughing until I cry, engaging in deep conversations, trying new restaurants and traveling. I\u2019m also a voracious reader, so you\u2019ll rarely see me without a book. I really despise clutter and \u201cstuff,\u201d and in a perfect world, I\u2019d be a minimalist. I\u2019m a \u201ctosser,\u201d much to my husband\u2019s dismay! But in spite of all that, I tend to be a \u201cmessy.\u201d Groan\u2026 Anyone else struggle with this conundrum?

But here\u2019s the thing that best describes me\u2026 it\u2019s the love I have for my Savior. The best choice I ever made is to follow God. I talk with Him all day long. He is my friend and has impacted my life more than anyone else. For most of my adult life, I was plagued with torturing, panicky, \u201ccan\u2019t breathe\u201d fear, and thanks to God\u2019s truth, I have found much freedom! Now, joy and laughter are my responses, and I\u2019ve felt the impact of the medicine that Proverbs 17:22 talks about.
