Years ago, I saw an image of a fence. On one of the posts were grains of salt. The ground began to shake and the grains of salt bounced up and down, back and forth until eventually they fell from the fence post. Some landed on the left side of the fence while others landed on the right. (Donât worry, this is not a governmental post about âthe leftâ vs âthe rightâ.)
You may find yourself bouncing on the fence posts of theology, current issues, personal preferences, etc. While the bouncing âfeelsâ brutal and out of your control, it is THE.VERY.THING that will guide you into resolve. The shaking causes you to travel to a decision one way or another.
Donât despise the shaking, but embrace it and view it as the tool that will catapult you to a landing place.
